Who We Are
The Krewe da Cha Cha is dedicated to educating, empowering, and supporting cancer survivors in Tangipahoa Parish. They stand with breast cancer fighters, honor survivors, and celebrate their courage. Krewe da Cha Cha supports both women and men in their fight against breast cancer by providing monetary donations, gift cards, and comfort bags—helping to ease the financial and emotional burdens faced during treatment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide information about breast cancer to the women of Tangipahoa Parish in a way that brings women together in an environment of creativity, fun, and support.
About Breast Cancer
In the United States, approximately one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives. Although far less common, men can also be affected—accounting for about 1% of all cases. When breast cancer is found early and remains localized, the five-year survival rate is roughly 99%. However, survival rates decrease significantly once the disease spreads to nearby lymph nodes or distant organs, underscoring the importance of early detection.
The Gala
The 5th Annual Krewe da Cha Cha Gala is set to be a lively celebration in support of a powerful cause. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit breast cancer patients who reside in Tangipahoa Parish.

This special evening is open to the public, welcoming everyone to join in the fight against breast cancer. Guests can look forward to delicious food, a cash bar, TJ the DJ, and plenty of festive fun.
Tickets purchased by Oct. 15 are $40 each. After that date. Tickets are $50 each. Individual and Corporate Sponsorships are also available and appreciated.
